FUN

Well, the title pretty much sums it up.

Today, I got to ride the tallest water slide IN THE WORLD. No, not just in Kansas. Not just in the United States. THE WORLD.

It is called the Verrückt, located in the Schlitterbahn in Kansas City. It is taller than the Statue of Liberty and Niagra Falls.

After waiting five hours in line and climbing 264 stairs to the top, we boarded the raft. Following sitting on the convayer belt for no more than two minutes (which felt like forever), we flew down the first drop. After that, we came back up and went down a smaller drop, although it was nothing like the first one. The entire ride was about fifteen seconds. We waited five hours for a fifteen second ride, but it was well worth it.

The amount of fun I had today makes up for the past two lazy days.

Tomorrow we are headed to another theme park, World of Fun, before finally coming home to gear up for preseason volleyball.

More adventures to come.

Best wishes,
Grace
