More Prayer

This school year is going to be much different than what I am used to, that I can already tell you.

I cannot go into detail at the moment, but I am here to ask for prayers. I can tell that this is going to be a year full of temptations. Maybe not all the horrible temptations, like alcohol and drugs, but more personal temptations.

This year will be a year that tests my faith greatly. My identity is going to be challenged alongside my morals and personal limits. This small society that I am now a part of is already pushing me to conform, to become just another one of them. While they may not be bad, they are not who I want to be. I want to be myself and only myself. This summer, when I really reflected on who I was, who I am, and who I want to become- I decided that whatever happens, I want to be 100% myself. I want to be the realest version of Grace there is. So, I made that a priority for the year before I even set foot in a classroom.

I know my limits, my morals, and my boundaries- but now they are being tested.
"Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power." Ephesians 6:10
"Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong." 1 Corinthians 16:13
The Bible specifically addresses all these things. We must be firm, be strong, and be willing to fight temptation.  The Bible finally says this:
"What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?" Romans 8:31
This is hands down one of my favorite verses because it captures the raw truth that so many people overlook; nothing can stop us when the Lord is behind us. Nothing else matters when we finally realize that no matter what, the one who matters accepts us.

So, my friends, stand strong. Fight the good fight. Be confident in yourself, no matter what others think. God sees past every flaw that others get stuck on.

Best wishes,
Grace

P.S. How cool is it that I am blogging from class?! I found out today that we can work on out laptops during some classes! If the homework load allows, there may be much more where this came from!
